I assembled a CVA Tower kit in the mid 80's -- is that close enough ?

A friend gave me a Colonial kit. I'd like to do a matched pair so we can "duel".

I bought one fully assembled . . . decades ago . . . was a fun shooter.

My "then" teen aged son and one of his buddies . . . used it as a new year noise maker . . . adding black powder to each successive shot.

When they put enough in it that the pressure blew off the percussion nipple . . . they quit.

I wound up re-rigging the thing . . . used a rifle nipple . . .

It still shoots good.
