The cost is still hard to swallow too. Just can't justify it. Sure would be cool though
I have never used a can so all the info I have is second hand at best. I see they have 338 cans. I have read that cans effect long range shooting and make the calculations even harder for first round hits.
On most cans I have read lots of info that says it affects the round an the reliability of the weapon in sustained use . He talks about that in this video an supposedly these Oss cans correct the problem.
For my purposes I would be happy with a oil filter suppressor but even that adapter is stupid priced
Agreed, not worth the money to me. If it is being used for hearing protection at shorter distance I guess there is no issue. Even if there were no hoops to jump through high end ear plugs and muffs are still way cheeper and the way I will go.
Did anyone see the new Ruger can for (I think) .17 & .22 caliber? I don't know if they make any for larger calibers yet. They were priced at or about $ 450.00 that's not too awful bad, if they work.
How many of us have checked the regs on hunting with a can? I will admit I have not but have heard of at least 1 state where you can not.
