    I did a quick search. I looked at exactly 1 site. They said check with your state as laws change frequently. They showed 37 states allowing hunting with cans.

    I know you did a quick search so I'll just expound upon this with my quick search- I am allowed to hunt small game and predators with a can but not birds or big game. Basically if I need a tag for it- its no can allowed. So just be careful and don't assume that it's a blanket ok or not ok to hunt with a can.

    Good point. The bigest takeaway I got in my 30 seconds of digging was that these rules are changing maby not year to year but changing none the less. It would suck to check the regs and spend the time and cash to get a can only to have the regs change and loose the use of you can before you ever hit the field with it.
