Never did much Scotch sampling so off we go.
I Like J&B and this Dewars is very close to that flavor wise price is about $25 so little more money than J&B I think on a rock this one has a better finish.
Any scotch drinkers give me some suggestions to try besides the norm like Johnny

I have heard from many people over the years that Scotch is an acquired taste. After having tried it many times and in many price categories, they are right. Never cared for Scotch at any price.

My little brother loves the scotch, so I end up drinking some every couple of years when I see him. He loves the peat monsters, which taste like smokey swamp water to me. The only one I remotely like is a 21 year old Balvini... and at around $300 a bottle or so, I think I'll stick to bourbon.

Same here. IMHO the only liquor more distasteful that scotch is GIN.

I went on a gin sampling kick and only few that I care for use more as a mass quantity mixer.
There is a brewery/stiller up the road and he makes a kick ass black pepper fermented garlic gin that makes a good shooter or the best bloody marry. So Hawg an I experimented with a few gins and also replicating his pepper garlic gin and pretty much nailed it. So I went a step further and did it with Vodka and moonshine. Nailed it.
My top 4 Gins that I like
    Hendricks
    Amsterdam
    Gibblys
    Kirkland

No drinking for me for a couple of days. I was out working in the yard yesterday with all the pollen and dust and when I blew my nose to get all that crap out I broke a blood vessel. Couldn't get it to stop so MG got me to the ER. (Yes, she got to drive my truck.) Spent half the night. They got it stopped by essentially sticking what I am calling a telephone pole up my nose. (NOT FUN!) So, I got to ease up on everything for a few days till the vessel heals. Then I get to have the telephone pole pulled back out of my nose. I am guessing that's not going to be fun either. I'll be ready for a drink by then.

Prior to meeting MG, I'd bet you would have just rubbed dirt in it to stop the bleeding and had a drink, right?

All kidding aside, hope everything works out ok, and might need to find out why it broke, 3 inches behind your nose is your melon, don't want to have a stroke from blowing your nose or any nonsense like that.
