I'm game for being a blithering Idiot.

    Oh wait...

I might already be one especially if you ask my wife.

That one sounds tasty and 11% yee haw!

Blithering Idiot, 11.1% ABV, is brewed in the British tradition of balanced, hearty ales. *It’s a deep-copper ale with notes of date and fig. The finish is warm and fruity and begs for the next sip.

Enjoy Blithering Idiot in a brandy snifter or wine glass with full-flavored meats and cheeses or as an after dinner drink. This wonderful brew is available year-round. Lay a few down. Aging only helps a barleywine develop more complexity. This fine ale will keep for years.*We feel comfortable setting our “Best By” date out to five years beyond the bottling date

Drinking is NOT a hobby. It's a skill.

I'm partial to Sierra Nevada, Stone Breweries Arrogant Bastard, Racer 5 and, if you like the IPA's, try a Raging Bitch.

Oh hell yeah! I like them all! Also, Drakes Ale is pretty good too.

Our friend here, Black Dog, has a coffee roasting business. He sells coffee beans to the Flying Dog brewery (the makers of Raging Bitch) for their [something] Dog Stout. The bottle even has Black Dog's logo on it. I had a 6 around Christmas this year. It was pretty dang good!

If you like IPAs, see if you can find Surly's Abrasive Ale. That stuff is outstanding! It is a Minneapolis beer, so I do not know if they sell it out of state yet or not. If you cannot find it, let me know. I'll get you a 4 pack. (4 - 16 oz cans - more than you will need in one sitting, trust me.)

I'll have to look into those. Always like to try something new. Thanks.

In the summer I make ice cream. Made a batch with Stone's Russian Imperial Stout and damn if it wasn't tasty!
