Our rental house is located in a small town. I cannot get what I would call "good beer" here, but I can get "average beer": Sam Adams, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, etc. We were over at our build site today and I realized I cannot even get average beer there without driving 30+ miles. So I decided that I need to start preparing my body for a life without decent beer (until I can start making it myself again). So tonight I picked up some Budweiser. It is not as bad as I remember it, but it definitely will not win any prizes.

Welcome to my world! You've described my situation almost exactly, even the 30 mile drive!

See if they can get hold of some AB American Ale. Might make it tolerable, at least

    Coors original is pretty good

These are my go to beers. You may find something different. Be careful of the 3.2 beer. It's not.much....

When I was a kid I worked in my dad's gas station. In the back room, we had one of those old Coke machines that dispensed the bottles. We kept it filled with PBR at 25 cents per. Good times!

But I will say, these Buds do kind of grow on you after you get past the first couple.

"Every person’s life is theirs by right. An individual’s life can and must belong only to himself, not to any society or community, or he is then but a slave. No one can deny another person their right to their life, nor seize by force what is produced by someone else, because that is stealing their means to sustain their life. It is treason against mankind to hold a knife to a man’s throat and dictate how he must live his life."
