    If we didn't need the milk from two of the goats they would be stew right now. They ate my blackberry, raspberry and strawberry plants. Darn child forgot to lock the gate to the garden. I hope they come back for next year.

    The last few years our raspberries have been really bad. We have a good sized red oak that I think is now large enough that it is shading them too much.

    I couldn't wait until MM day so I planted tomatoes and jalapenos today.

    They should grow back. First time I ever put out strawberries I was not pleased so I mowed them down. They came back thick as carpet the next year. I've bush hogged lots of wild blackberry vines and they always come back, as long as the root is ok
