My location is not really good for solar either. Winter is almost always cloudy. But wintertime I can get hot water from my coal stove. And the other 3 seasons I could use the new solar powered setup. Hey! Anything is better than nothing in an emergency situation. The wife just rolls her eyes when she sees me building some of these projects. But she wasn’t rolling her eyes when we had toilet paper when others didn’t. LOL
20 gallon 115 volt water heater…………. Hmmm………….my mind is thinking again!
Panels will still work around 30-40% under overcast skies (think trickle charge); heavy clouds not at all.
