    Not really a prep but more of some self reliance. Just got 14 Golden Comet hens and 2 White Rock hens to replace my aging layers.

    No pictures....but eight rick of wood for next year, while clearing for the orchard expansion.

    We went to town yesterday and bought a couple hundred dollars worth of seeds, salt, fishing line and duct tape. I'd say we're good to go.

    I forgot to add that I also got another 275 gallon water tank from the same guy. I will tie it into my rain water collection system when it warms up. That will make 3 tanks with a capacity under 825 gallons since I have it set up for an overflow so I lose some capacity
