Good idea! Rumor has it that the feds have threatened Winchester to stop selling 5.56 and .223 on the civilian market or lose the Army contract. Brandon is playing exactly the same games as Obama: If they cannot ban firearms, just dry up the ammo supply.
I do not think it will work this time though. Several small manufacturers have sprung up locally here.

Winchester has a contract to run the place and to do just what they are doing.
Asshole in Chief just cannot tell them to stop, one hell of a lawsuit would come up out of it.
Civilian sales are part of that contract, Winchester is not to make money???
Those civilian sales are a filler to keep the place running and are figured into their contract margins.
Lawsuits should have monies judged by the courts to come out of those crooked politicians own pockets.
FU@K JOE BITEME AND OBAMACOON!!!
A STORM IS COMING! LET'S GO BRANDON!

It won't help them anyway. I have enough 5.56 and .223 to arm a regiment for a score of skirmishes. Bought it cheap when it was plentiful, stored it properly, and held onto it. I know lots of other patriots did too (although none of us can compare to YOUR stash SOCOM). I liked the 5.56 federal cans of 420 rounds. I just kept buying them out of habit.

All my prepping these days involves moving. Have I mentioned I hate moving? And now I have to travel to Dallas for 4 days on business.
It's getting down to crunch time now. I get back Saturday night so that gives me 2 weeks before closing. Have to get the rest of what is needed out of this place and up to Ten Oaks and I feel like there is still much to do. Once money is in the bank and I am out of the Katy house, then I have that long awaited retirement conversation with the owner and his son. The world needs to hold off blowing itself to bits just a little while longer.

Deepest condolences on the four days in Dallas. That town was birthed as a Socialist Utopia and got more kinky during Reconstruction. I refuse to drive through it. I have an alternate route to get to East Texas if a person wanted to go there for some strange reason.

After the last 3 days I can totally agree with you P.O. MOVING SUCKS! And the apt is temporary. I am surprised at the considerable LGBTQ population here. As long as they leave me alone.
