I've seen some hillbilly homemade still setups using a large used pressure canner with the tap for the jiggler fitted with tubing and condenser.

oh, my prep of the day will be coffee. All that's left is some folger and wallyworld instant. ugh.

The family and I (including new son-in-law) just got done cutting, splitting, and stacking about 1 cord of oak firewood. Loving the new tractor to help with all the chores.

We got a foot of snow here today, went out and started the blower.

Went in and woke daughter to go out and use it.

Went back out and shut it off, said she will do it tomorrow.

I don't care, have nowhere to go anyways.

How much did you end up getting from that system. I think it went west of me, into the western part of the state.
I'm now waiting on this 2nd mega system hitting the east coast. Hurricane force winds to the coast, 4-8 inches snow, changing over to another 1-2 inches of rain, Lots of wind. I may be home tomorrow. Firewood inside or nearby, generator ready, Bourbon in the fridge. Who needs work anyway?

Managed to get my chainsaw fixed yesterday. Took $100 and 2.5 hours of driving for parts. Going out to work on the woodpile today with the wife.
