I got the itch a while back to try my hand at leatherworking so I invested some money in a few tools and a sheet of leather and started doing a few things here and there. I enjoy the work and it keeps me busy. It seems like as soon as I finish a project my mind is already on to the next thing so I guess that's a good thing. I found this a lot more rewarding than I would have suspected, just watching the projects come to fruition and knowing that I made them with my own hands makes up for any little imperfections that may show up in the work.
