    Book: Dog Company

I heard about this book on the radio the other day, and it does seem worth a read.

I'm curious to see how similar the 'stupid,' I went through compares to the stuff in the book.

I'm going to (hopefully) pick this up tonight.
"Every person’s life is theirs by right. An individual’s life can and must belong only to himself, not to any society or community, or he is then but a slave. No one can deny another person their right to their life, nor seize by force what is produced by someone else, because that is stealing their means to sustain their life. It is treason against mankind to hold a knife to a man’s throat and dictate how he must live his life."

I knew some that went over there. A couple are dead now. A co-worker quit and joined one of the Corporate outfits, I'm not sure which one but I toyed with the idea because the contracts were fat. I'm glad I didn't.

The private companies tend to vary, from what I've heard. The ones I worked with were . . . iffy. Nothing illegal, just iffy on the whole job thing.
