    Store bought earned it reputation as a dryed out tastless brick sutible for build shelters in 3rd world countrys as Inor said.

    Yes she did. Hers was very moist she would make during the Christmas season once or twice. It never lasted long it was devoured by family.

    Ever had a good ole southern pecan pie? Definite hint of cinnamon, ground pecans, and a touch of bourbon.

    My wife makes awesome pecan pie, but I like her peanut butter pie better.

    We used to get some from my mom's sis....Heeerreeessss the doorstop!.

    My(RIP Mom) mom made real tasty ones as did my dads youngest sister,she was (RIP aunt Sylvia)pure sicilian and cooked all the time,fruitcake,almond cookies,shortbread and,the best biscotti ever!.
