Butcher cuts me up steaks that are ~ 3lbs. Last time I bought 6. They came on sale again. I'll clean out freezer and get 10-15 then vac seal them.

I got some hamburger patties out of the chest freezer that I had overlooked for a spell, 2-13-20. I thawed them out, fried 'em up and they were great. Thank God for the vacuum sealer. I vac seal everything I buy in bulk. My sealer gets a workout. I used to complain that the bags the manufacturer sells were so damned expensive. Now I buy my generic bags off Amazon for 1/3 the price, and they work as well or better than the recommended ones.Originally Posted by Mad Trapper

Just bought a FrigdeADare upright for $400, used but not abused
rta- It's still not plugged in, but the outside wall is insulated and Chicken has gone up 30 cents a lb
