Survival Lily is wonderful, I've watched her for years.
Back from the void and still crazy as hell. :)

I used to be a pretty fair archer in my formative years using a Shakespeare Tioga recurve, I was the last kid on my block to go to a compound. These days, becoming a better archer after my right shoulder replacement would call for me trading my old compound for a crossbow.

Oldtimers around here squalked and fussed when youngsters were getting compounds . . . they were not "true to the sport".

Then the new stage of oldtimers squalked and fussed when youngsters were getting crossbows . . . they were not "true to the sport".

I guess when the pneumatic bows become a thing to reckon with . . . it'll be the same again . . . just page three of the same.

    May God bless,
    Dwight
If you can breathe, . . . thank God.

If you can read, . . . thank a teacher.

If you can read in English, . . . thank a veteran.

I started with my Dad's longbow in 71, broke it stringing it, then went to a Bear 20 lb recurve in '72.

I have an old recurve in the rafters looking for arrows and a string. Also have 2 recurve X-Bows
