I ordered a Century Arms RAS 47 from the Prepper Gun Shop. That model is also all American made unlike most others which are imported.

One other thing about AK 47's. If you are kind of new to them, I will only buy the AK 47's with the side rail scope rail attachment. That is the only way to mount optics on them that holds zero. I have a couple red dots, two PSOP scopes, and I am in the process of getting IR lasers sights for all of mine (do not know why I would need those). Anyway, my gun shoots straight. I was shooting target clays at 100 yards with the irons, and I would then go back and shoot clay fragments at the same distance. It was very accurate for an AK 47.

I get my Russian optics for my AK 47's from Kalinka Optics. I have had very good luck with them.

I got a couple of these red dots.......

I also order my only IR laser from them. The laser I ordered has a weaver mount. I ordered a weaver mount that fits the same side rail which I mounted the laser to. I can easily interchange my optics (flip of a switch) and they all retain zero when reinstalled.

Both of my PSOP scopes came from Kalinka Optics as well. They do not sell anything quite like what I bought as I bought them a few years ago. I like their Simonov reticle. That has an easy to use rangefinder, and it is easy to adjust. The reticles are also illuminated for low light shooting. The scopes look like they weigh a metric ton, but they are fairly light. The weapon on the other hand makes up for the scope.

I was looking at that one. Not a bad price, cheaper than I can get it locally too.

I just got an email from the vendor. The package I ordered on 8/28 (after the store was closed) is scheduled for Fed Ex delivery today.

I see they have one for $899 they came down some.
This just might have became my anniversary gift.
Also didn't know they were made in Detroit maybe I can get them cheaper local somewhere.
I know this is an old post, but I have to comment. I imagine they decided to make flamethrowers in Detroit as they have a captive market during Devil's Night.
