    Heck, I learned that in the Boy Scouts when it really was the BOY scouts. I learned about the grizzly tracks out here.

    These two books are in my collection.

    The 1st covers most North American animals and some birds. Wonderful color pictures of: the tracks and tracks in a path (gait), the animals feet, their sign, dens, nests, lodges.......

    The 2nd one is a Tom Brown Jr book. This is more of a hands on get yourself dirty in the woods guide. It covers learning an animals movements by the "pressure releases" that each track exhibits. Tracks differ if an animal is turning, speeding up, slowing down,..........

    I still have my Boy Scout manual, my Boy Scout knife, cooking kit, hats and the only thing I'm missing is my sash with all my merit badges, I had them all. I don't have any idea what happened to it.

    I got kicked out of boy scouts, for eating a Brownie
