I collect military long guns I currently have a 1945 Springfield M1 Garand, 1943 Remington 03A3, and a Springfield M1A.
Next on the want to add list for me will probably be a Enfield 303.

I'm just trying to get along and being self reliant.

If you hunt, fish, grow your own food, farm, tinker with/fix machinery,...........you'll find friends here. Besides firearms let us know your interests or make some posts to do the same.

I've only drove through SC on the way to Daytona 500, what's your area like? Good hunting/fishing, mountains/woods...?

Great hunting in my neck of the woods. Currently stalking a flock of long beards as we speak. I love to hunt and fish especially, but I help my grandfather out on the farm as well. I’ve picked up reloading as my newest hobby and I absolutely love it

The toms are starting to strut here. States near here have spring (May, Toms only) and fall seasons (Oct-Nov).

Ever seen a buzzard for a turkey decoy?

I had some striper racks from fishing the spring Hudson river striper run ,put out by the game camera, a buzzard visited and Tom turkeys (background) thought it was competition for the hens.



I picked up a NIB extra full choke 12ga barrel that fits my TC and Lyman/Investarms Hawken style MLers , I need to work up a turkey load for that.
