Retirement preparation

Just occurred to me, since I don’t have a job does that make me a democrat ?

Not unless you are on welfare and have at least 5 bastard children with 5 different baby mamas. And identifying as a different gender than what you were born as, or if you're an illegal alien or a "native" American or if you're black. Then and only then will you be a card carrying liberal DemocRAT.

Funny thing about retirement: some days you wonder how the hell you ever had the time to hold down a job LOL.

No kidding, reassembling my 65 Mustang is a full time job it seems. Maybe I shouldn't have taken it completely apart. Now I'm trying to remember how stuff goes back together and in what order. Yesterday I spent over 6 hours putting the nose section of the car back together. Had to take it off the car once to correct a mistake I made in reassembly order. After the exterior, it's time to put the completely stripped dash back together. These cars of the 60's were far from the wonderful fit & finish everyone remembers them as having.

Went to the credit union yesterday, gal asks if I had big plans for the weekend, I say, why, is something going on? She says sorry, forgot you're retired. Everyday is the weekend when you're retired, also, everyday is a work day when you're retired.

Great line from - Maggie Smith - in Downton Abbey - her nephew is telling her about running a farm on the weekends in his spare time --

Her friend has a primered no rust 65 Mustang in pieces that needs most parts put on. It's been sitting for years with low low mileage. She got the motor / trans back to drop in now.
