The wife has a doctor’s appointment first thing tomorrow morning. It’s in a small town so not expecting any trouble. But we’ll see how things are and I may be playing driver/escort. She is protesting loudly, but I say tough shit. If I think it’s necessary, I’m driving! Just 2 blocks away from her appointment is a grocery store. I can use my waiting time to do a food run.

I pulled my Trump signs inside last nite. Everyone knows I’m a right wing asshole, but no sense advertising it now after the election is over. Time for “gray man” operations now, until it isn’t. But I’m fully prepared for that contingency too.

While voting you can see everything will be quiet around me as everyone running for local office are Republicans. A democrat tried running for sheriff like 10 or so years ago wasn't even a speed bump in the road, no one has tried since.

Was pretty quick and painless while voting, though some guy complained to the Sheriff's office his vote wasn't counted. The deputy showed up to talk to the people at the precinct while I was there. He said the machine kicked his ballot back a couple of times, so he told them his vote wasn't counted. Which is BS, but hey. the Tabulators can be touchy, but they are older, only takes it being a little uneven when you feed it in for it to kick back out. Heck took me 3 tries last year, only once today. Even wrote myself in a vote for U of M trustee.

I have never voted early, but I think I may go tomorrow and vote early. Just in case it get sketchy on 5 Nov. BTW, that is mine and IIRC also SBE's birthday. May need to drink da beer and hunker down...
