Picked up a new 13kw generator to get ready for hurricane season. Old one was getting pretty long in the tooth. (20 years old), plus I wanted a bigger one to power up more of the house.

Time to do a little banding, maybe...would sure take care of the possible meat crisis.
How did you come out with the calves? You get them?

No, I opted out. When I arrived, it is as pretty obvious that the calves were not as old as claimed, were both bottle babies, ( that's fine) and way overpriced.

I'm still searching though. I need a new bull too, so I'm doing a lot of shopping.
I fear the nation I loved may be gone. The best I hope for now is to die with honor in the coming civil war, and that my grandchildren be spared the pain of a tyrannical government.

Probably a good move... bottle calves can be a pain in the ass once they leave the farm they were born on lolol

Bought a new MFJ HF antenna for my radio. The wire 'V' antenna just wasn't cutting it. Probably because my yard is too small so I had to bend it in places. Propagation direction was wrong also. Arrives in a week.
