There are plenty of us who are being beaten half to death, and I am one of them; but I have not had to endure what Paul did, nor the torments of Christians in Iraq or Syria.
And, I keep it in mind, and I use it, as a ruler that is used to measure out reality. Whenever I think that my life is Hell, I contrast it with a Christian in Baghdad; and it keeps me grounded.
