Think before you answer. Seems we have at least two references to Son(s) in the old and new testaments.
Or is the Bible wrong?:banghead::banghead::banghead:

There is one Son of God, but there are angels referred to as the sons of God, or that is one conclusion. It is a very murky area really, but men like Goliath may have been born from women who married angels.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

The giants and the Nephalim are unexplained in the Bible, but there were unnatural beings on Earth, and no one knows where they came from.

Actually we do, The Eternal said they were there in those days, either he put them there or allowed them there. AKA Lucifer

This is one reference: "Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. "
The understanding is that they are the righteous, . . . in Christian terminology, saved, born again, bought by the blood, etc.
In OT terminology, . . . just righteous and God fearing men, . . . would qualify as the sons of God.
Also in all the plural "sons" the word is in lower case. In the singular "Son of God", . . . it is always capitalized.
Sons of God are righteous men who married "daughters of man", . . . your cousin Joey married Beatrice, . . . if Joey was a Christian or a OT righteous man, it fits. No big deal.
AND, . . . FYI, . . . nephalim is not a word that occurs in the Bible, . . . it is a made up piece of dark literature, . . . invented by some jake legged dude who wanted to be a preacher, . . . probably some kin to the Wesboro folks.
May God bless,
Dwight

Here is one to ponder, just for the sake of argument... Wouldn't all men, righteous and unrighteous, be the sons of God? For example, I have two daughters. One went half-retard for a couple years and I/we had to turn our backs on her until she decided to get her life squared around. But that did not make her any less our daughter nor diminish our feelings for her. It only affected how we had to interact with her for a while.
So I just watched the SF indoc BS..... Jesus christ I could make it drunk in a coma....

Lucifer was the father of the giants, like Goliath, but no one knows how it came about, there are loads of evil things and conduct, that is not recorded in the Bible.
You are being pretty general aren't you? Here is definition of Nephalim:
Nephilim (nēfĭl`ĭm), in the Bible, Hebrew word of no known meaning, denoting peoples of gigantic stature with superhuman strength. The term is translated as "giants" in the Authorized Version. The Book of Genesis refers to Nephilim as the offspring of marriages between "daughters of humans" and "sons of God." See also Anak.
https://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/Anak
Anak refers to the father of some giants, aka, The Sons Of Anak, which Joshua and Caleb pretty much eliminated. Since God knows all things, I was not talking about Him; I was talking about us, the people of today.
Whoever they were, they were rebels against God, since Goliath mocked the Israelis and their God. And that is when David killed him.
