Sometimes, . . . we need lifted up.
On the one hand, I'm so glad we can continue with postings here, . . . the corona virus hasn't gotten me yet.
But was feeling a bit blue, . . . no fellowship with the folks I love.
THEN, . . . got a call from a buddy, . . . he and some of his family had finally decided they needed to get baptized, . . . wanted to know if I would do it.
It meant I had to do all the prep work, . . . fill it . . . wire up the heater (had it for a while but never used it).
After prayer and a big dose of frustration, . . . finally got it all together, . . . baptized 5, . . . one who left shortly afterward to begin a new life on her own in Texas.
Picture is of the father and his step daughter, . . . they are two of the 5, . . . baptized him first so he could help with the others.
God is good, . . . remember the Crump family in your prayers please.
May God bless,
Dwight

Congratulations! I remember when you first planning that baptismal fount but have not seen it since you all built it. It is awesome that you were able to break it in now, especially given recent events.
P.S. How do you drain it?

We couldn't just put a hole in the bottom with a plug, . . . water table there would keep the thing 1 to 2 feet full at all times.
Just use a small sump pump, . . . when it quits sucking water out, . . . 16 gallon giant vac with stainless steel tub, . . . takes about an hour to fill it, . . . another hour to drain it.
May God bless,

What a great idea!
Do you run the baptismal water to your plantings outside the Church?
Bet they'd really like that :)

Only plantings we have are grass, . . . and two maple trees, . . . the rest fight for it on their own.
May God bless,
